Dining at the Chequers Inn
We pride ourselves on using good quality local produce where possible. We are fortunate to have an award winning butchers in the village, and they provide us with all the meat we serve. We offer fresh beer battered cod and a hugely popular seafood platter among our fish dishes. We also offer plenty of vegetarian options and gluten free alternatives, including fish and chips.
We have lots of traditional pub classics on the menu, liver and bacon is always popular. Plus we have lots of homemade dishes, there is often a homemade pie on the specials board.
Then if you've room maybe we can tempt you with a dessert from our board. There's homemade banoffee pie or homemade brownies, and we always try to include at least one gluten free option. Resistance is futile!View Sample Menu Festive Menu

Our Sunday Roast is 1 Course £9.95 and 2 Courses £12.95, with a choice of topside of beef or free range chicken, there are vegetarian options, we can even offer gluten free yorkshire puddings if dietary requirements are advised when booking.
We have a childrens menu as well as a childs sunday roast, all childrens meals are £4.95, which includes an ice-cream
From Tuesday to Friday we offer a 2 Courses for £10 Lunch menu.
Wednesday night is Curry Night with a main course and a selected drink for £10. See in-house for more information.
